When to use it
Use it to propose an event to a sponsor or manager, with its purpose, audience, programme, budget and measures.
How to use it
- Make your own copy. It opens in the editor, where you can change the theme and edit anything.
- Fill in the fields below, and answer the question each section asks with your own content and numbers.
- Download it as an editable Word file, or as a PDF. The file is reopened and checked before it is offered.
Section by section
- Event proposal: [event name] [company] · [date]
- Purpose What is this event for, and what should be different afterwards?
- Audience Who should come, and how many? How will we reach them?
- Programme A table: Time, Session, Who
- Venue and date Where and when will it take place: [venue] on [event date]? Why this choice?
- Budget The budget is [budget]. What is it spent on, and what is expected back?
- How we will measure it Which measures show it worked?
- Next steps Who approves this proposal, and by [decision date]?
Fields to fill
Fill them once in the editor, or from a spreadsheet to make one copy per client. Where a slide needs content, it asks the question it must answer instead of showing a made-up answer.
