Claravo lets businesses share decks by link and publish them as web pages. If you think something shared on Claravo breaks the law or our terms, tell us. This page explains how, and what happens next.
How to report
Use the report form, or the “Report this page” link on any shared or published page. Please tell us:
- the address (URL) of the page or link;
- what is wrong, and why you think it is illegal or breaks our terms;
- your name and email address, so we can reply (you may stay anonymous when reporting child sexual abuse material);
- that you believe the report is accurate and complete.
You can also write to the Grievance Officer: grievance@claravo.ai.
What happens next
- A person reads every report. We reply within 24 hours when you give an email address, and act on the report normally within 7 days.
- Where the law sets a shorter time, we follow it: for example court or government orders, and intimate or impersonating images shared without consent.
- If we remove or restrict content, we tell the person who shared it which content, the facts, which law or term it broke, that no automated system made the decision, and how to dispute it.
- We tell you what we decided.
- Content that appears to be child sexual abuse material is reported to the competent authorities. We do not open, keep or forward copies beyond what the law requires.
Copyright notices (United States, DMCA)
Our designated agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), registered with the US Copyright Office as DMCA-1084691: Nirav Soni, Twishiv Platforms Private Limited, B-203, Rosedale Heights, Vasna Bhayli Road, Bhayli, Vadodara, Gujarat 391410, India, grievance@claravo.ai.
A notice should include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- the material you say infringes it, and where it is on Claravo;
- your name, address, phone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you own the copyright or may act for its owner.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material infringes can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
If your content was removed
Reply to our email within 6 months to dispute the decision. A person, not an automated system, reviews it.
For a copyright removal you can send a counter-notice to the same address, with:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the material removed and where it was before;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and phone number;
- your consent to the jurisdiction of a US federal court, and that you will accept service from the person who sent the notice.
We pass a valid counter-notice on to the person who sent the notice, and restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we receive it, unless that person tells us they have filed a court action (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)).
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others' copyright.
