RFP response template for Word

Answer a request for proposal: understanding, solution, team, price.

Free, and not counted as a creation. You get your own copy to edit, in any theme.

When to use it

Use it to answer a formal request for proposal, so each requirement is met in the order the buyer asked.

How to use it

  1. Make your own copy. It opens in the editor, where you can change the theme and edit anything.
  2. Fill in the fields below, and answer the question each section asks with your own content and numbers.
  3. Download it as an editable Word file, or as a PDF. The file is reopened and checked before it is offered.

Section by section

  1. Response to [rfp title] [company] for [client] · [date]
  2. Our understanding What is [client] asking for, and what does success look like to them?
  3. Our solution What will we provide, and how does it meet each requirement?
  4. Requirements met A table: Requirement, How we meet it, Where it is shown
  5. Team and experience Who will do the work, and what have they done before? Which similar clients can we name?
  6. Price The price is [price]. What does it include, and on what terms?
  7. Next steps What happens once [client] chooses us, and who is the contact: [contact name]?

Fields to fill

Fill them once in the editor, or from a spreadsheet to make one copy per client. Where a slide needs content, it asks the question it must answer instead of showing a made-up answer.

  • {{client}}
  • {{rfp_title}}
  • {{company}}
  • {{date}}
  • {{price}}
  • {{contact_name}}
